– If you’re in the UK, you can watch the BBC’s recent Panorama episode on The Secrets Of Scientology. Some of it’s really quite creepy. I’m not entirely in agreement with those who say that all the stuff about Xenu and the billion-year contracts are a red herring – they’re entertainingly wacky, which is always worth pointing out about people’s religious beliefs – but the more sinister and cult-like aspects are what deserve more attention. And as much as Xenu’s a cliché among skeptical circles, a lot of the general public really don’t know any of this stuff.
